Jadel is the stage name of Jardine Legere, a soca artist from Trinidad and Tobago who has built her career independently. She reached the final of the International Soca Monarch in February 2018 with Round And Round. Her second album, Don't Be Mistaken, was released on 29 March 2024 with guests including Demarco, Karlie Redd and the Jamaican dancehall artist Charly Black, and tracks such as Shake Up, Up In D Party, Fire Body and Wa Yuh Doing. She has said the title was a response to being confused with other Caribbean artists. Deserve It All is her most streamed music video. In September 2026 New York City Public Advocate Jumaane D. Williams awarded her a citation, her second from New York, presented during Soca Fest in Brooklyn after several years of appearances at WIADCA events. For the 2027 season she released Miss Rosey with XplicitMevon, a song she co wrote with Patrick Joseph and Mevon Soodeen.
