Behind the music

The story so far.

De Postman is the stage name of Sherwin Rogers, a soca singer who calls Trinidad and Tobago home and has lived in the United States for more than 30 years. A Caribbean Today profile from October 2021 says he has been sending soca tracks to radio stations since the late 1990s and that Riot was the song that started his career. The same article lists Fetterholic, Spread Out and Yes Everybody Matters, released in summer 2020, and previews Party Nice, built on a beat from Rapid Beats of St Lucia. His later work appears on the JulianspromosTV channel, including No Wuk as a 2018 Trinidad release, Trending Profile for 2019, Soca Army and Palm D Ting for the 2026 season, and Tit 4 Tat for 2027. His own channel, De Postman Station, hosts the official video for Feterholic. The run of titles shows a writer who keeps returning to carnival with new material.
