Keros-N explains the two sides of Bipolaire
In a Blakes interview published on December 11, 2017, Keros-N said the title Bipolaire was meant to picture the two faces everyone has, one dark and one brighter, as two ways of approaching life. He said he never works on albums as albums: he records song after song, then selects the best. He described recurring themes of hope, conscious messages about the position of Black people in the world and reflections for different generations alongside a harder, more street-oriented side. He said his guests came through human encounters rather than commercial choices, adding that he recorded three songs with The S and kept one.

Disc one holds fourteen tracks, from Black to Vida Loca, with Dasha, Pon2mik, Politik Naï, Zebrist and Larose named in titles. Disc two holds eleven, opening with Cacahuète featuring Nicy and naming Railfe, Lyrrix, Chinee Queen and The S, whose credit appears on Sombre ruelle. Keros-N named Pitit à papa, which he said deals with generational conflict in Guadeloupe, and À fond, the closing track, among the three songs that touched him most. The third, a song for his son, is not named in the interview and is not identified here. The interviewer also listed J-Max among the guests, but no captured title names J-Max.
