Ricky Bishop is an artist of Guadeloupean and Malagasy origin whom La Belle Electrique, a concert venue in Grenoble, presents as one of the leading figures of a bouyon revival. The same page says he first came to notice in 2021 alongside Implaccable and calls his hybrid sound audiocrack. His Deezer catalog reaches back to Racks 2 Finesse in 2020, but the bouyon turn is clearest in the EPs #newbouyon and #sexybouyon from 2024 and the 2025 album #newbouyonexperience, which the venue credits with guests including Noelia, Billy Bybf, Yu Mei and Implaccable. In August 2025 he brought the #newbouyonexperience to an NTS Radio guest show that set the bouyon beats of Dominica and Guadeloupe against rap flows and heavy autotune. Recent singles include Ninjas in January 2026 and Twavay Bay in October 2026, and his YouTube channel carries videos for Anlè Mwen and Soukré Sa with OT$ and Lonebrain.
