MFR Band

The story so far.

MFR Band is a bouyon group whose frontman, Chum Dada, sat down with the Love Bouyon Music channel for its Bouyon Talks series to talk about bouyon, WCK, the band's comeback and the single Rubi Rose. A companion clip from the same channel frames MFR as a band that was once taking over bouyon, with Chum Dada looking back on that period. On streaming services the band's recent catalogue runs through the label Norfsta Trax. Deezer lists All or Nothing from August 2023, Throat from December 2023, Monster in January 2024 and With U 2nite in April 2024, followed by Fully Active in February 2025. Late 2025 brought The Healing, released alongside an instrumental version, and the interlude 2 Face, and in June 2026 the band issued Rubi Rose, the song at the centre of the interview. Rubi Rose is the natural place to start, with Fully Active and The Healing showing the band's comeback era.
