Behind the music

The story so far.

Magistral Beats is the production name of Patrice Piquion, a producer from Guadeloupe who also plays keys and drums on his sessions. His channel describes the mission as taking Caribbean sounds from Guadeloupe to the world, and his releases carry the label magistral beats publisching. In 2024 he composed and produced Bouyon Olympique for Teddy Bien Pwop. Coulie Coulie by Aknose and Kima, released in June 2025 with Magistral as composer, has drawn close to two million YouTube views. Maille Café, a single shared with Tency and Kny Factory that includes a bouyon version, came out the same month. In 2026 he released Célibataire under the name Magistral with Aknose and N'Ken, recorded and mixed Aknose's Bloqué, and issued the single Magistral Dolibouyon. He also launched a studio series called Top Caribbean Producer and posted a session titled We Make Bouyon Music.
