Singer moving between calypso and bouyon for over a decade.
Behind the music
The story so far.
Ebony Empress is a singer whose recorded work moves between bouyon and calypso. Early uploads of her songs include Bouyon Volé on the Sewo Dogs Riddim and a remix of Back Up Your Chat, both from 2014, and her song Culture was posted during the 2016 Mas Domnik season as Dominica bouyon. In 2017 she released Holding Your Own as a calypso. Her streaming catalog runs back to 2019, and Do Fuh Do arrived as a Bouyon 2024 single. Early 2025 brought Hot & Steamy, Quality Bumpa, Your Love and Cheers, followed by Rose Zing Zing with Khallion. Kokayoko, subtitled Cock By Di Window and featuring Trev Li, was released as a Bouyon 2026 single, and a later remix added Shawn Storm. Her 2026 run also includes It Hurt Them with Colton T, Grass Not Greener with Carlyn XP, a new Back Up Your Chat with Foxy Jael, 32 Pong Town with Real Reel, Bounce 2D Riddim and Toufay.
