DJ Ana & Ultra Simmo
DJ pairing behind the Sunglasses and Soca mix series.
Behind the music
The story so far.
DJ Ana & Ultra Simmo are a DJ pairing who share one YouTube channel, where soca, chutney soca and reggae mixes sit side by side. DJ Ana's Sunglasses and Soca series anchors the soca side: the 2025 groovy edition was recorded at NAPA, and a 2026 edition came from Fort George. They also posted a 2026 soca set recorded live at the Savannah Stage. Ultra Simmo releases solo sets too, including Soca Spark 26, a power soca mix, and a calypso and old school soca mix built on Sparrow, Kitchener, Baron, Black Stalin and Calypso Rose. For chutney soca, The Glam Chutney Jam 3 was a 2024 mix connected to Toronto. Reggae is the other pillar, with a set recorded live at Maracas Beach. On Deezer, Ultra Simmo is credited on releases such as the Trini Bacchanal Riddim and "Simon Says" with Sackie and DJ Cheem, both from 2022.
