Behind the music
The story so far.
Barbar is a bouyon artist whose releases are published through the YouTube channel of 47# Record Label. The run of uploads begins in 2021 with Koker La Bon Deho and Yo Inme Sa featuring Pupuce, both tagged Bouyon 2021, plus Bouyon Nwel from the same year. In 2022 came Jwi Vit, again labelled bouyon, and the Gros Cocotte freestyle with Le Daah, built on an instrumental by DJ Swafet and DJ Kevy. A radio edit of Gros Cocotte reached Spotify in February 2022 under the 47# name, with Barbar, Le Daah, DJ Swafet and DJ Kevy credited together. The most recent upload in this series is Bouyon Glou Glou Glou, featuring Natural Aka and dated 2024. Gros Cocotte is the easiest way in, with Koker La Bon Deho showing the earlier material.
