Browse the eight-track An Xplicious Christmas edition and the musicians’ account of its development, with a clear distinction between project history and provider edition dates.
How a seasonal project grew from six songs to eight
In a December 2019 Dominica News Online interview, Carlyn XP said she wanted to offer something different within local Christmas music. Producer Cornell Phillip described treating the project as a Christmas album open to different styles, rather than restricting it to soca, bouyon, zouk, cadence or reggae. He recalled having six songs ready, withdrawing a planned upload and adding two more. He also described earlier seasonal releases and said Christmas Memory had been recorded previously but held back. These are the musicians’ accounts of the project’s development; they do not establish that every later digital edition uses identical masters.
Navigate the edition and its versions
This captured edition has eight tracks, from Christmas Feelings to Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Twelve Days of Bouyon Christmas is fifth, followed by Holiday Sing Along and Hallelujah. The provider dates this edition December 1, 2019. The contemporary interview links a different Apple product number, so its publication date and historical link are retained as project context rather than silently treated as proof of this exact product’s original upload.
